Evaluation team consists of the following individuals: Orthopedic Exercise Specialist Dr. Amon Ferry, Exercise Physiologist Lyle Bartell and Angela Loyd, a Sports Medicine Physical Therapist.

Dr. Ferry joins Valley Orthopedics after completing a fellowship with the prestigious Harvard Sports Medicine Service in Boston, Massachusetts. He is trained in cutting-edge, minimally-invasive techniques and specializes in Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy, and Reconstructive Surgery of the knee and shoulder. He is also a specialist in cartilage restoration, shoulder stabilization, rotator cuff surgery, and knee ligament reconstruction.
Dr. Ferry is originally from Illinois and received both a Bachelors and Masters degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He then went on to complete Medical School and Residency Training in Orthopedic Surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. During his training, he conducted several research studies on a variety of Orthopedic topics, including knee ligament reconstruction and rotator cuff surgery, which have been published in a variety of Orthopedic journals and text books.
Dr. Ferry has extensive experience caring for athletes at the high school, college and professional levels including the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bulls, Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, Boston Bruins, and New England Revolution.
Dr. Ferry is an active member in several medical societies, including the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Sigma Xi Research Society, and the American Medical Association

Angela Lloyd – PT, DPT, COMT
Angela is originally from Michigan where she graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lake Superior State University. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2006 at the University of Minnesota. With a desire to gain advanced skill in hands-on treatment and functional exercise progression, Angela continued her training through the Ola Grimsby Institute earning her Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 2007. Her experience is comprised of orthopedics, post-surgical care, adult neuro rehabilitation, inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, and geriatrics. Angela believes manual techniques, activity-specific exercises, and education are crucial components to the rehab process and are integral in return to desired level of function.
