7:00 am Full Marathon and Relay Marathon start together at Verrado Towne Center
7:30 am Half Marathon starts at Surprise Recreation Campus
7:30 am 5K Walk/Run starts at Westgate City Center AMC Theater
8:00 am Fit Kids: Westgate City Center Jobing.com Arena

Venue:

Westgate, Glendale, Arizona; race ends on Coyote Blvd in front of the Coyote Arena

Bus Shuttles:

Absolutely NO Runner Parking at the start line – However, we do recommend being dropped off at the start!

Finish line parking is located on the west side of Westgate City Center, 6770 North Sunrise Boulevard, Glendale, Arizona 85305

5:15 am First Bus Leaves
6:00 am Last Bus Leaves

Half Marathon:

5:30 am First Bus Leaves
6:15 am Last Bus Leaves

Brief Description:
Save the Date! The IMS Arizona Marathon, 1/2 Marathon & Marathon Relay, 5K, and Fit Kids is an event you do not want to miss! This race takes runners, walkers & joggers through West Valley cities noted for their ever increasing culture, professional sports venues, shopping adventures, and fine family living.

What to Bring:
Running shoes (believe it or not, people do forget), Sunglasses, hat & sunscreen.  Remember to stay hydrated!   Gear bag:  Please provide you own Runner drop/Gear Bag.

Weather:
Typical weather in the West Valley – high: 72, low: 41, so be sure to dress appropriately. (Weather info)

Safety:
The Marathon/Relay course will be closed at 1:00 pm.  The Half Marathon course will be closed at 11:30 am.  All individuals that are still on the course will be picked up by our Marathon volunteers.

For everyone’s safety runners MUST stay inside the cones.

Medical service will be provided by Integrated Medical Services at the Finish line.

At the Finish Line:

Music and Finish line festivites will be had hat the finish line. Specifics to be added as the info is availble.
